It drives my Quad Era-1 planars easily and really lends a natural and organic warmth to the presentation, with holographic imaging and a rich low end. In addition to the stock tubes (which sound great anyway!), I am including 3 sets of upgraded tubes. A pair of classic Mullards and 2 pairs of Russian military grade Voskhod valves, one set from 1970 and the others from 1987. Its great fun switching out valves and finding the perfect flavour for your listening sessions. This is a comprehensive kit and sounds amazing.
