The subwoofer will be expensive to ship as it is heavy, over 35 pounds without any packaging which will also be heavy. You have multiple options for shipping. I must say, if you live in an apartment building, this subwoofer IS your eviction notice. You will make people mad. I had to be careful to keep everything on the shelves here. It is that loud. Further you get from it louder it gets; more you feel it. This is one of the earlier 3500Rs as it does not have the phase control later ones have. Made in 2008. In the video at the beginning, you can see the folded sheet move from the bass. When the camera moves to the front of the amplifier, I set the camera on the table with it. That is just a small taste of the vibrations this subwoofer can create when paired with the right components. It is paired with a Technics SA-DX1050 and an Akai EA-A2 EQ. The EQ is on, so it is not original CD player + Amp signal, lows to highs are enhanced. The amp, the bass and treble are set to zero. I have tested this subwoofer hooked up every way you can hook it up. It is a great subwoofer if your amplifier does not have a subwoofer jack as you can use your A channel wires to send everything through it. The actual speaker should be pointed at the wall if you really want to feel the bass. Pointed into a corner is better. This is an awesome subwoofer for its size.
