I have used this 220W amplifier for 2 years powering both highly efficient speakers and more demanding Bowers & Wilkins units. The SAM (speaker active matching) brought my bowers alive and delivered more bass than they made prior. The other surprising fact about this amp is how damn good the phono stage is. You can impedance match any cartridge and get beautiful sound from the integrated unit. Lastly the remote is a master class that more brands should follow. It is just a fantastic way to interact with the unit. New was $10,000 I am the second owner. Everything is fully functional I was streaming from Roon and spinning records before packing it up. Only reason I am selling is that I have a little more space these days and want to try a tube set up. Latest spec Devialet Expert 1000 Pro Dual CI mono blocks including 2 remote controls. I bought used from authorised retailer Peter Tyson as a customer trade in. Invoice can be provided. Dark Chrome colour. Original PRO CI - NOT an older upgraded model Can operate as 1000w mono blocks (2 * 1000w RMS under 6ohm) or be split into 2 stereo amps rated at 250w each. It really is the definition of high end luxury - cases and remotes are machined from a solid billet of aluminium and the electronics are attached to a solid copper bottom plate. A true end game all in one solution - fully configurable inputs, wifi or usb streaming / optical / rca / top end phono stage. Even has built in Room Correction! (you need to first measure your speaker response, then and add the suggested PEQ settings file to correct in room response) Can even be hung on the wall, a real design piece :) Have gone for some active cardoid speakers that better suit my needs at the moment so am moving these on. 1 unit is in excellent unmarked condition, the other unit is excellent condition but has a couple of very tiny marks on the case not visible in use. Worst is the size of a pin head :) Some scuffs and tears to boxes but fully functional. Comes with 2 remote controls and original audio quest power cables. Would consider selling one 250 PRO CI + remote for £4,999 (see other listing) Would also consider a PEX for your gear plus money my way Collection / demo in Portslade is of course preferred for such a high value item. Or meet up not too far from me. Shipping would need to be discussed first (not sure how much insurance would be).
