Denon PMA-2000 IVR Integrated Amplifier in Very Good Condition The Denon PMA-2000IVR, released in Japan in 2002, is the 4th generation of this high-fidelity integrated amplifier. As expected from Denon, thePMA-2000 IVR is a fantastically well-built amplifier, using high-grade internal components and a high-quality circuit design. The output stage features UHC (Ultra High Current)-MOS, which has 3 to 10times as much current capacity as is typical. The PMA-2000 IVR features a twin rail design, a phono equalizer with low-noise FETs and switchable MM and MC cartridges, and a rectifier circuit in the power supply. Overall, the PMA-2000 IVR is a awesomely built and designed amp, with exceptional sound that is way ahead of this price. This particular unit is in very good condition, with natural few signs of use and aging, including discolorations (please check photos). All inputs have been checked and are in working condition. These Denon amps are made in Japan and as expected are of exceptional quality. My take on this amp is that its a good as an Accuphase for a lot less money (I had an Accuphase E-380 and while it was a touch better in some areas it wasnt worth the price difference).
