Up for sale from my own personal audio component collection is a Denon DRR-780. Sale will include the original remote, Operating Instructions booklet, and original box. Cassette deck is a very clean unit with minimal signs of use. Only a few minor scuffs are present on case of deck. I tested cassette deck prior to listing and it played flawlessly. Fast forward and rewind works as they should. I did not record a tape but it did record fine back when I used it in the past.

This was my beautiful DRR-780 cassette recorder/player that worked perfectly like new (very little use)……. Until a heavy object dropped on the opened tray and messed it up somehow. I tried to get it back feeding properly and figure out where the metal bar goes, …... even ordered a detailed service manual, (for about $20; included)….but alias no luck. Guess I’m too old and impatient! It really should be an easy fix :( I do also include the remote but the battery cover is missing.

Denon DRR-780 Cassette Tape Deck. Auto Reverse with drawer loading mechanism. Dolby B & C and HX Pro. Deck plays in both directions, auto reverse works well, FF & REW work as well. I have never recorded on this deck but I assume it works. This deck was purchased used from a Hi-Fi dealer in the early 2000s and has been used off and on in different rooms. The drawer opens smoothly and the deck sounds good. The remote works great and is one of the reasons I purchased this machine. I am downsizing and although I love this deck, it has to go. It has been well cared for but with all vintage cassette decks, you will probably want a spare set of belts on hand. This was working but much lower in volume than the phones output. Play Fast Forward Rewind Stop Record all of these are working. Instrument panel appears all working. The counters are working. The recording level bar is working. I adjusted the recording level while recording. I did not test the other functions such as timer. These functions have working indicators when pressed on the display.
