Superb Denon DL-110 high output moving coil (MC) cartridge. The sound is absolutely fantastic and a beautiful middle ground between a moving magnet (MM) and moving coil cartridge. You will not need a special phono preamp or transformer; you only need a regular phono preamp that plays MM cartridges. This particular example has been cleaned, demagnetized, and retipped by Joseph Long (seller name: GrooveTickler), called “the best retipper on the planet” on many audio blogs. Joseph has installed a new Micro-ridge diamond that is even better than the Denon original. Cartridge was purchased directly from Joseph in 2023, used for less than five hours, then put away. It is as close to mint as you can be without being new in the package. Cartridge will be carefully packed and shipped USPS Priority Mail by a professional shipping company for a flat rate of $10.
