Der Receiver, der in Japan gefertigt und durch Soundmaster von Denon/Marantz abgestimmt wurde, befindet sich technisch in einwandfreiem Zustand und unterstützt auch heute noch gängige und hochwertige Surround-Formate wie DTS-HD Master Audio, Audyssey DSX, Dolby True-HD oder auch Dolby Pro Logic IIz etc. Die Einmessung erfolgt mit Audyssey XT32 (alt: Audyssey Gold), also der großen Ausbaustufe der Einmesstechnik von Audyssey, welche auch heute noch in den Topmodellen zum Einsatz kommt. Erwähnenswert sind ebenso die eingebauten 9 Endstufen im Mono-Block-Aufbau sowie der flexible 11.2-Kanal Vorverstärkerausgang mit Pre-Amp-Modus. Mit einer zusätzlichen Stereoendstufe sind somit Lautsprecher-Layouts bis 7.2.4 möglich! Die Klappe lässt sich jetzt wieder ordnungsgemäß öffnen und schließen. Dennoch sollte dies erwähnt werden. Ebenso sind in der Frontklappe im unteren Bereich 2 bis 3 tiefere Kratzer vorhanden. Also worth mentioning are the built-in 9 power amplifiers in mono block design and the flexible 11.2-channel preamp output with pre-amp mode. With an additional stereo power amplifier, speaker layouts up to 7.2.4 are possible!
