It is a really nice sounding machine. * There are cosmetic defects such as scuffs and scratch marks but should be considered normal wear and tear for its 30+years old age and should be anticipated. I just played a few 80 minute CDs from beginning to end with not a single hickup. * The only issue that I know of, which is common with this model, is the occational sticking tray door. You sometimes have to give it a slight assistance (it seems like a slipping belt possibly). Ive never had it apart, so I cant confirm. Note: This cd player is missing the remote, but it can be purchased from ebay occasionally. If I happen to locate it, I will include it. It will be well packed for shipping. All functions appear to be working, but no intensive testing or check up has been done and it is over 30 years old. Therefore, I am selling this as is. It sounded very nicely from the kick drum with great punch and depth when I played Hotel California just to make sure it is functional.
