This was the flagship of Denons high end CD player and built like a tank. It weight in at a hefty 17 kg. It was an expensive and one of the most desirable cd player in its day with awesome reviews. This player is a masterpiece and the sound can still rival many of the current higher end player. It is a really nice sounding unit. There are some surface cosmetic defects such as scuff and scratch marks but should be considered normal wear and tear for the age which should be anticipated. All functions appear to be working, but no intensive testing or check up has been done and it is over 30 years old. Therefore, I am selling this as is. It sounded very nicely from the kick drum with great punch and depth when I played Hotel California just to make sure it is functional. The buyer can still enjoy good music with this unit or use it as spare for parts. Note: This cd player is missing the remote but it can be purchased from ebay occasionally. It will be well packed for shipping. International shipping cost must be further confirmed. The stated shipping rate is for Canada Post International Parcel Service but they are currently on strike and there is lack of other carrier choices.
