Definitive Technology BP-20 Bi-Polar Super-Towers. These are the original Super Tower loudspeakers with Vifa mid-bass drivers and silk-dome tweeters (as opposed to the aluminum dome variants on later versions). They are configured in a ported bi-polar array (bi-amp capable) with two 6.5 and one 1 drivers on both front and rear baffles in a mid-tweet-mid (DAppolito) alignment. Thats 6 drivers per speaker cabinet and 12 drivers per stereo pair. These loudspeakers are in excellent working condition with original grill socks (in decent condition, a few small holes and scuffs that you don’t notice unless up close) and black lacquer top caps. Original feet included, with levelers. Superb for both 2-channel and main (front) home theater applications. Power handling on these are 20-500 watts They are bi-wire/bi-amp capable.They are solid from 30hz and up -- no joke, for music they would NOT need a subwoofer if powered with a good amplifier.For home theater there is none better. The bipolar sound for Home Theater is unmatched and for music they are superb throwing out a huge stage with insane bass.These will easily fill up a huge room.
