Estate Sale Find: Definitive Technology Mythos ST 3-Way Floor Standing Speakers Passive part of both speakers tested and sound excellent. The amplifier in one unit does not work- no light and no sound coming from subwoofer portion. The other amp and subwoofer works well. The speaker bodies and bases are in excellent condition, with only some minor nicks on one side of the unit with the non-functional amplifier. On the fully functional unit, 8 of the 12 grill pegs are broken off and stuck inside the peg holes on the speaker, but the grill stays on. Grill fabric is in good condition. On the unit with the non-functional amplifier, 9 of the 12 grill pegs are broken off and stuck inside the peg holes. There is one small little mark/minor pull on the bottom of grill and the bottom of grill frame is cracked. Grill still stays on, however. Includes one replacement cord that is slightly shorter than the original because the original power cord is stiff near where it plugs into wall. Some smearing of glue around feet on bases, may have been like that from the factory. Please see all images, including images of the imperfections. This listing is for the pair of speakers, as shown.
