Rare set of DCM TimeWindow 3 speakers for sale. Everything that was amazing about the TimeWindow 1 and 1as these have but more. Physically larger with larger sound and deeper bass. These do not come up for sale very often. There is a lot of good literature online about these so do some research. This set is as mint as you are going to find. Solid wood caps look amazing and the fabric has zero rips, tears, or snags. I Even have the original boxes. All of the electrolytic capacitors in the crossovers have been replaced and new gasket material added to top and bottom caps as well. The clarity and wide sound stage are what Timewindows are famous for but the 3s add deep bass as well, they sound amazing. Only selling due to amount of audio equipment I currently have and these deserve to be showcased in someones main system. DCM Time Window Lautsprecherpaar Das Lautsprecherpaar müsste neu mit Lautsprecherstoff bespannt werden. Zustand technisch einwandfrei, optisch siehe Bilder. Als Hinweis der originale Bespannung war eine Art Kunstoff Fließ welches sich in Aüflösung befand und klebte, daher habe ich es vor geraumer Zeit entfernt. Der Zustand ist der originale Zustand welcher sich zeigt sobald man die Bespannung entfernt. So sehen die Lautsprecher ab Werk halt aus, hier ist nichts gefrickelt oder verändert worden. Die Original Leisten um den Bespannstoff zu spannen sind natürlich dabei. Die Lautsprecher haben fortlaufende Seriennummern 21562 & 21563 und klingen sehr gut wie ich finde. Aufgrund der Größe und des Gewichts nur Abholung vor Ort. Können somit gleich ausprobiert werden und Mißverständnisse treten erst gar nicht auf.

These DCM Timewindows are the 1st & best iteration of this superb speaker, referred to as the DCM TW 1. Other versions followed, but this version is the original, and best made of the Timewindows...they were Loss Leaders. They have superb holographic qualities regard setting up a soundstage, and deliver a wide and deep audio picture. Yes, youll have to move them about a bit relative to your listening position to get the best from them, but its very, very much worth the effort, because when theyre spot on, the sound is absolutely fabulous. The1s were (sadly) replaced quite quickly by subsequent models which kept the same cabinets but changed internal components + drivers - end result, some of the magic was lost... The result was still a fantastic looking pair of speakers, but its generally agreed, not as sonically good as the original TW1s. That said, even later models are still considered very good. I have had this original 1s pair internally improved professionally (ex-BBC engineer) about 3yrs ago, that takes the speakers even further than the original 1s, by careful selection of better x-over components + much better grade internal wiring. Due to a power amp surge some years ago, I lost 2x mid bass drivers, a matter now fully resolved with the improved x-over). An extensive search and some time later & I found and bought 3x NOS original Timewindow 1 mid/bass drivers from a US dealer. 2x of the drivers are fitted, and theres one NOS mid/bass driver extra in this sale. Without doubt, these upgraded speakers are superb performers, and I sold my Avalon Ascendants MK 1 once Id listened to this upgraded pair: I did miss the Ascendants admittedly better bass to begin with, but after a while it didnt matter as the DCMs overall approach was more natural, less pushed, and just sounded more right.... theyre also lovely pieces of furniture too - no WAF issues whatsoever!
