Datasat AV Theater Process w/ 13.2 Channels and 4K I recently hooked this unit up to test and it sounds really good. Im running a 7.1 set-up and still working on how to update the set-up to add my second subwoofer but wanted to update this posting to note the unit works great. I also posted some pictures of the mode selection screen. I really like the simplicity of the mode selection screen. I purchased this unit used and it was originally sold new via Audio Advisor. I contacted both Datasat and Audio Advisor to get the specifics of what technologies this machine has and neither company was able to provide me with any specifics. Paired with the right amps and speakers you can get a world class theater set-up, but you will not have the latest technologies like Atmos. I purchased this machine because of the recommendation of a local installer and because it has the ability to run 13.2 speakers. Im selling because Ive put my theater on the back burner while focusing on building a place to support my growing on-line store (building a small barn). This unit has a world class D/A converter (told to me during the long conversation I had with a Datasat engineer who was very nice) so two channel sound has not been forgotten and sounds fabulous (I tested with McIntosh mono amps and Paradigm Signature speakers and was very pleased). The companies web page has a full list of specifics on this offering. This model doesnt have Atmos (current models do, but much more expensive) and the 4K video card supports 60 hertz (Datasat customer service told me it had this feature). This model can be upgraded to all the latest audio and video technologies via the certified dealer network, but I do not know the cost. Unfortunately, I dont know what other licenses or technologies this unit has. The options screen on the unit has nothing listed. I did notice on the front of the unit there looks like there should be a small cover on the indention next to the silver plaque, which is missing. Also, there is some tape and tape residue on the top of the unit. Offering includes the plug, remote, extra fuses and some literature. Everything that is included has been pictured.
