Da der erste Käufer leider nicht bezahlt hat, hier nun im zweiten Anlauf: Aus meiner Sammlung biete ich hier eine absolute Rarität an. Es handelt sich um den Quadrophonie-Adapter Model 4000. Mit seiner spiegelsymmetrischen Front ist der der Inbegriff der sprichwörtlichen Marantz-Ästhetik, bei der seit jeher auf möglichst symmetrische Optik Wert gelegt wurde. Mit seinen in perfektem Marantz-Blau leuchtenden Anzeigen ist er ein Eyecatcher, wie er in der gesamten Marantz-Produktion seinesgleichen sucht! Nachdem ich nun seit über fünfzehn Jahren sehr viel Zeit, Herzblut und noch mehr Geld in den Aufbau meiner Marantz-Website (siehe letztes Bild der Galerie) gesteckt habe, bin ich an einem Punkt angelangt, wo ich erkennen muss, dass das Jagdfieber bei mir langsam nachlässt. Inzwischen habe ich fast jedes von Marantz jemals produzierte Gerät mit überwiegend eigenem Bildmaterial auf der Homepage veröffentlicht, dazu Verkaufsstatistiken über viele Jahre hinweg geführt und veröffentlicht und immer wieder Verbesserungen vorgenommen, die zum Teil aus den Reihen der zahlreichen Marantz-Fans als Vorschlag an mich herangetragen wurden. Dies hat mir immer großen Spaß bereitet, zumindest so lange immer wieder mal die eine oder andere Neuerwerbung hinzu kam und auf die Homepage hochgeladen werden konnte. Nachdem inzwischen aber nichteinmal mehr die extrem seltenen Geräte fehlen, die exklusiv für den japanischen Markt produziert wurden, gibt es nur noch maximal eine handvoll Geräte, die noch auf der Homepage fehlen. Man kann also sagen, dass das Ziel erreicht wurde und es damit an der Zeit ist, dass ich mich nach neuen Aufgaben umsehe.
