Im Consumerbereich sind heute nur noch -10 dBV üblich.Am Eingang benötigt der Theta eine hochwertige digitale Quelle mit einem sauberen Takt, da seine Elektronik zur Taktsynchronisierung noch auf dem Stand von 1990 ist. Wer ein Gerät mit einem unsauberen Takt (z.B. Apple TV zweite Generation) als Quelle verwenden möchte, braucht dazwischen einen Jitter Killer.Wenn der Theta nicht sofort einen Lock auf das Eingangssignal bekommt (rote LED), muss einmal zwischen den Eingängen umgeschaltet werden.Klanglich ist der Theta hervorragend, klingt ebenso gut wie Studiogeräte z.B. von RME.
