There are four single ended, RCA, line level inputs, and there are four digital inputs one of which is Bluetooth. There is a Sub wolfer out as well as Pre-out so you can use this unit as a preamp and connect it to another power amp to control it. Designing the CXA60 was a challenge that was accepted with open arms by our engineers. We wanted an amp that sounded more musical and energetic than anything weve made before. They beavered away for months and after some particularly late nights they eventually nailed it. To achieve this they used some unique engineering techniques, some very premium components, and some great ears for detail. Weve used an audiophile-grade toroidal transformer which helps minimise magnetic flux levels. This basically keeps distortion and other noise levels low so that your music is played back with complete purity. We also centrally mount the transformer to reduce interference with other components in the circuit board such as the volume pot; this is in a further effort to keep your music sounding amazing. As for the volume pot itself, weve used an ALPs film type volume pot which delivers accurate volume control and superb low level channel balance so the volume is always perfectly controlled across both left and right channels at whatever volume youre enjoying. The refined circuit board layout also minimises the interference (crosstalk) between the left and right stereo channels so each stays independent and unaffected by the other. This results in a lifelike sound stage where you can virtually place each instrument in the room - just like being at a live show! We achieve this by using symmetrical and separated circuit paths and by entirely separating out the left and right heat sinks. This is only normally engineered into amplifiers costing many times more so the performance you get out of the CXA60 is incredible at this price. The full 60 watts of power also comes from class AB amplification. Class AB delivers very little crossover distortion so your music sounds purer and more controlled.
