If a tweeter or woofer is not working, first check your bi-wire links (If using them) Then substitute the non working drive to the same position on the working speaker, making sure the speaker is NOT connected to any amplifier first! (Also at this time check and ensure the crimps/solder connections are well made) If the fault moves with the drive unit, then that drive would likely be the problem (Check it with a meter or get someone to test it for you if unsure!) If the fault stays with the same speaker/position, double check everything again And then remove the crossover to check the exact model number and revision (MAKE A NOTE (Or take a picture) of the connections before removing!) Fabulous custom-made Hi-Fi and Home Cinema Rack - SOLID ASH - no veneers! With glass shelves.This rack has been designed to isolate the centre speaker from the main electronics equipment, preventing the centre speaker from vibrating the equipment and affecting the sound.The unit has 5 adjustable thick glass shelves, and both units have adjustable invisible feet embedded inside the wood that can be used to level if necessary.This cost £2500 and took 2 years to build, including wood seasoning. It was created by a German carpenter and craftsman called Alvaro Rodrigez. You can find his website in the UK yourself and see his spectacular work.The price is much less than I paid for the raw materials, wood, and glass alone, without the labour to fashion it into the finished product.This is a 2-person lift for the centre speaker part and the main rack. Obviously, this cant be sent by post.
