This is a beautifully working Creek OBH-8 in great condition. I am the original owner and have enjoyed it for many years. Sound- A surprisingly neutral phono stage with great microdynamics and superb soundstaging; macrodynamics a bit compressed from forte on up; slight brightness and treble grain. Features- Designed for higher-output cartridges; separate power supply can be upgraded; RCA inputs and outputs are not gold plated. Use - Plug (in) and play; correct polarity of the power supply is essential for optimum performance; leave on at all times for most consistent sound. Value- the OBH-8 delivers a lot of audiophile-approved performance; its price is inexpensive admission into the hallowed halls of high-end vinyl playback

Really clean pair of early Creek amps. Includes both: 1) Creek OBH-11 Headphone Amplifier with original power supply2) Creek OBH-8 MM Phono Preamp with original power supply Both of these are the early first series, lettering on the back indicates make in UK vs designed in the UK on later runs. And headphone amp has the Large volume knob on the front which changed to smaller knob on later green print front units. And early power supplies had the silver print vs later green lettering. Condition on both is excellent for early to mid 1990s production. Just a bit of wear as shown in the photos. These are from my home collection and Ive owned for many years. These still work flawlessly, I just need to sell off some extra pieces. Guaranteed to work as expected and look as shown and described.
