Creek 5350SE integrated amp--fully restored and in excellent working condition. Includes original remote and power cord. Cosmetically it has a few minor scuffs and scrapes, but it performs like new. I gained a lot of familiarity with these amps after fixing a channel dropout issue in my own 5350SE amp and it has been working great after about nine months of completing a similar restoration. Heres a partial list of work performed on this amp: Replaced the main power Mosfet transistorsRemoved, disassembled and cleaned the Alps input selector switch. This is a complicated and time-consuming repair that takes about two hours if you know what youre doing. This is an essential step in restoring these amps and there are very few that have undergone this repair. Replaced the DC offset adjustment variable resistors.Replaced all electrolytic capacitors, other than the main power caps. The main caps are Panasonic FCs in good condition. Replaced the speaker protection relay switches.Replaced a whole bunch of other transistors in the power and pre-amp sections, including the ones in heat prone locations. All replacements have the exact same values as the originals. Removed the pre-amp/power amp jumper pins in the back of the unit and hardwired the internal connection. This allows the input signal to bypass the RCA jack. It also eliminates use of the power amp in/pre-amp out function. This modification can be reversed on request from the buyer. Cleaned all electrical connectors and switches. Replaced the top cover These are great little amps with a lot of analog inputs and good switching capability. I bought mine new over 20 years ago and it has been in daily use since.

Creek 5350 SE Amplifier with bad selector knob. If one fiddles with the input selector knob, one may be able to get both channels to work. Even when you get both channels working they wont for long, so this can be used for parts or replace the input knob as I dont feel this is usable in its current state. I feel the amplifier section works solid, if knot for the input knob. This has 4 channels to hook up 2 pairs of speakers and select 1 pair for 70 Watts or both speakers at 60 Watts each. I bought the amp over 17 years ago used. It sounded great, but I believe it now needs a new selector knob. It has mostly sat idle for the last 10 years. Physically it is in very good condition. This unit only comes with power cord and remote control. What you see in the photo is what you get.

It has borrowed technology from both the Evolution 2 integrated amplifier and Classic 5350SE and is styled to match the Evolution 2 CD Player and Evolution 2 Tuner. Creek Audio has developed a completely new high current bi-polar power amplifier to enable it to drive low impedance loudspeakers with modern dynamic music from high resolution sources. This has required a radical approach to enable it to be fitted into a slim-line case. Each power amp is now built as a module, using a high proportion of Surface-Mount components, on a double sided PCB, bolted to a massive 18 fin heatsink. This means both channels are identical and can be fitted and removed easily for servicing if required. The power amp topology includes a cascoded differential voltage amplifier and MOS-FET current drive stage feeding a double Darlington output stage with four high-current bi-polar transistors to produce a very powerful amplifier capable of driving the most demanding of loads, with high resolution and accuracy. DC stability is maintained by a servo amplifier that rejects DC and allows the amplifier to be coupled directly without capacitors.
