Auch wenn die innere Silberabdeckungen eingebeult und leicht beschädigt ist (ist immer das gleich mit den Kindern) hat das keinerlei Einfluss auf den sehr ausgewogenen Klang über den gesamten Frequenzbereich. Vor allem die Bässe sind satt ohne Nachbeben. Ich habe das Chassis in einem Zweiwegesystem mit 12DB/Oktave Frequenzweiche verbaut, zusammen mit ein DSM25FFL. Ich habe bis heute in der Preisklasse keinen vergleichbaren Breitbänder zu hören bekommen, auch der B200 von Visaton kommt da nicht dran, selbst getestet. Die Fotos sind original vom angebotenen Objekt. Kommentar eines HiFi Freaks: Ist es nicht sonderbar, dass es vor 30 Jahren schon Chassis gab, die das, was z.B. ein aktueller Thiel Coax kann, schon damals konnte. This pair of vintage Coral 8CX-1 two way co-axial ALNICO magnet speakers test good by multimeter resistance check and by audio music sound check. The tweeters sound like they are working. Sound is normal for these speakers. No unpleasant sounds or abnormal operation sounds during the music listening test at moderate sound level. Voice coil and speaker suspension move freely with no problems that I detected. IMO, they do a pleasing job of reproducing music. One of the pair has a crease in the paper cone. See it in the photo circled in green. It is not a crack. It doesnt appear to have weakened the cone paper. It appears to be only a cosmetic defect.
