Up for auction I have a very nice Conrad Jhonson PV3 Stereo preamp in very good cosmetic condition. This preamp with the exception of a slight hum sounds very good and is quite outstanding for vintage unit.Not sure if the hum is normal for this type of preamp or if it might need some power supply caps replaced.So please be advised that this unit might need service..The preamp was slightly modified to include a automatic mute that delays signal for aprox. 60 seconds to eliminate thuds or surges at turn on.This is standard on more expensive Conrad Jhonson preamps such as the PV5 etc.This is high quality stereo preamp in the same league as Marantz Mcintosh etc. Shipping to the USA. Works and sounds great however it has a hum. Not sure what the issue is. Tubes are Chinese 12ax7. All test good. 12at7 also good. Face panel has damage as shown
