One flaw is that the original cage and bottom are missing and replaced with a custom made cage and bottom. (I know, I’m bummed as well). The price reflects this. We have no idea why or where the parts could be. I inherited it this way & it went straight to my Tech. I had a local guy build a cage for the main chassis & the bottom. It came out very good. I know there is a tendency in the Audiophile world for perfection in everything. This is not that. This is a GREAT DEAL on a High Quality TUBE AMP for a home stereo setup! Functionally it is “Tip Top”! The Cord was replaced with a heavy duty type with the ground to the Chassis. The only other small flaw is that one of the fuse holders pops out just a bit (see pic). Does NOT affect performance & holds the fuse in place very well. The serial number is 5501617. It was found with the Dynalab tuner and Conrad Johnson preamplifier that I also have listed.
