Motors Not Included. If you have an early motor with the anti-reverse mechanism under the top plate, this kit will not fit. Compare your motor to the images below. The kit will fit the suitable motors on the left, but it wont fit the not suitable motors on the right. Please note your motor must have both the empty hole and the high collar of the suitable motors for it to fit. The three holes have already had there little cross bars removed. Excellent isolation of the motor, preventing its vibrations from reaching the platter and tonearm 4 This drilled, tapped and polished stainless steel retaining plate is a far superior design to Sugdens flimsy retaining clip.My retaining plate is made from hard A2 stainless steel. It is not magnetic and will not affect the magnets in the motor. Being stainless steel it will not rust. Nylon is used for screws so they are safe to have below the motor top plate. I looks good too highly polished. GOLD CLASS DRIVE BELT Williams-Sonics Gold Class Neoprene drive belt is designed and matched with the web to give superb performance. TENSION BANDS The kit comes with quality hand-made rubber bands of the same material to counter the pull of the belt and keep the pulley level. I include a choice of four different sized bands to make it easy to find the correct tension for your belt. BIAS WEIGHT A small natural rubber insert for the bias weight is also part of the Conversion kit. This will keep the weight tight and stable on your SAU2 tonearms bias wand. This carefully designed little rubber insert can also make a big difference to your sound quality compared to a loose vibrating bias weight on your tonearm. PLATTER SPINDLE OIL PLUS PIPETTE.A vial of platter spindle oil which has proven to maintain the spindle bearing of these decks in original condition over many years. There is enough oil for many oil changes and it comes with a pipette for administering it accurately and cleanly. Purchased in the 1970s Switches on ok and turntable spins but is very noisy. 2 speed, 33 & 45 rpm. Shure M75 type 2 cartridge & stylus included (stylus is separate and the protective sponge is disintegrating). SAU 2 pick up arm. Groov-Kleen cleaner. Stylus pressure gadget. The plinth cover is in good condition. Needs a 3 pin plug I would prefer collection from CM11 postcode. Will post but please bear in mind I do not have the transport screws.
