Der Name: PPA9 - ein Phonoverstärker für MC-Signale. Spannende Frage: Wo ist der Anschluss für den externen Trafo? Es gibt ihn nicht. Diese MC-Vorstufe wird im Inneren mit zwei 9-Volt-Batterien betrieben. Singulär in der Entwicklung, in der audiophilen Botschaft. Denn: Batterien liefern eine höchst stabile Spannung - ein Trafo und der Netzstrom können schwanken. So ist diese Konstruktion bewusst high-endig ausgelegt.
