Classe Audio CP-800 MkII Stereo Preamplifier The CP-800 MkII differs from the original CP-800 as it has an upgraded DAC board that supports higher resolution sources and is an overall higher quality DAC. Classe Audio CP-800 Mk2 Pre Amplifier & DAC - Boxed. For sale is my Classe CP800 Mk2 Pre & DAC. Ive owned this unit since new in 2016 and its been in use daily since then., along with my CA2300. Only for sale because its time to try something new and I wasnt using it to its full capabilities. I just had it permanently hooked up via USB to my Roon player and a single set of balanced XLR to the amplifier. The unit is in full working order and in generally good condition given its now a few year old. Unfortunately, it has picked up a couple of scratches to the black lid during house moves and Ive done my best to capture those. Theres only one that Id consider really signfiicant but Im theyre an issue it shouldnt be hard to have the lid repolished by a metal worker as it is removable. It was always in a rack for me so never visible. Updated to the latest firmware and Ive removed the lid to show that it has the network streaming card installed. Comes in the original box with network cable (Ive never used it) and remote etc. Parcel will be shipped fully insured at a cost of £95 within the UK so please take that into account when reviewing the price. The unit is fully working and has been tested by my local hifi dealer to confirm this, the DAC works perfectly and the network link has been upgraded and enables you to connect to a music server and stream through the pre-amp. The front USB input allows you to directly connect a source (iPod for example) and stream this through the pre-amp. A very versatile and solid piece of hifi equipment.
