Classe Audio CP-800 MkII Stereo Preamplifier The CP-800 MkII differs from the original CP-800 as it has an upgraded DAC board that supports higher resolution sources and is an overall higher quality DAC. Includes remote and all original packaging. Very clean and works as new. Stereophile has a great writeup about this preamplifier as well. I believe the review is for the non-mkII version.

This listing is for the following item: CLEAN! True 1-Owner Classe Audio Four StereoPreamplifier with MC & MM Phono Section This true one owner preamplifier is in Excellent Condition for the age. Very, very clean. Age typical scratches on edges of faceplate with a couple of nicks(mostly along the top side, see pictures) and some scratches on the top of the case. Unit was fully tested on all inputs except for the balanced input and Moving Coil phono input and sounded great. No distortion, humming, or static when adjusting knobs. Very clean and crystal clear sound. Phono section sounded great(Moving Magnet tested only). Inside the unit showed no evidence of repairs or modifications and was extremely clean. Comes with original owners manual as well. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO Power Cord Included. Up for sale my beloved Classè Omega Pre MKII. It was a cost no object preamp and still one of the best. New was 18000 euros in 2003. Very rare to find it on the 2nd hand market. The preamp is in perfect working condition and was inspected by a qualified technician before the sale (the bias was regulated). It has only a few light scratches (see pictures).
