Selling this currently non-functional preamp/processor. I had it in to look at repairing it and was told its power supply is bad. I was quoted $750 to repair. I was also told the battery contacts in the remote need replacing. The remote is also missing one foot. Otherwise it was working perfectly prior to this issue, though that was over 2 years ago. I can’t make any guarantees that it doesn’t have other problems. Cosmetically, the unit is in ok shape but is close to 20 years old and shows its age. There are some minor smudges/knicks/etc. Please check the photos, do your research, and ask any and all questions before bidding. I will do my best to answer. The picture (albeit standard def) was amazing as was the sound. If it still worked I would consider keeping it just for music, but the kids demanded a (lesser) 4k-compatible system. My loss. Classe SSP 800 Preamp/Processor in excellent condition. Ive owned this since 2014. Bought SSP 800 Brand new and HAVE receipt. This Classe SSP 800 has low hours due to me moving 5 times since purchase. unit has low use. there may be one or two very minor blemishes on this piece, but I dont see much at all! See pic of SSP 800 firmware version 3.0.2 Build 0102. This version is one back,but does not affect sound/unit function. the latest one may be available on Classe site. This Processor was flagship and ONE OF THE BEST 7.1 ch Home Theater Processors for its price point and I feel it still is! If youre familiar with Classe/Bowers and Wilkins, then you KNOW THE QUALITY OF PRODUCT CLASSE IS. Great Processor/pre-amp still and will make ONE heck of a Home Theater system for a great price. Includes original remote, (remote missing one rubber foot), power cord, Mic (no cable for mic) Manual on original Classe memory Stick (and a hardcopy) and all Original packing materials.
