No original remote but the sales will include a Logitech Harmony Remote programmed to replicate the full function of the original remote. THE BAD: Unfortunately the unit overheats after playing for a while. First, the display will goes wonky (see video), with all the switches still functional. After a few hours, the keys (remote and physical buttons) no longer works but the music will continue to play. You just cannot change any parameters. It will then require turning off of the unit with the physical On/Off button in the back. After it cools down, it will work again with the symptoms described above showing up eventually. I was going to have it repaired (there are 2 Classe-authorized repair shops in the US, and 1 in Canada) but I bought an old Aragon 24K preamp to go with my Aragon 8008 amp in the meantime. So I figure the Classe should just be sold for parts or as-is. Looking at the interior, the unit looks clean. No obvious damage or anything. Service manual is available online (I can provide). It may be an easy fix for someone who knows how to diagnose circuitry. Or it may not. Please decide for yourself. Again, sold as is or for parts only. No refund.
