Clarion Mk I Mini Reel to Reel tape recorder/player with Booklet - 1950’s Vintage It takes 4 x 1.5v batteries D size, not included Size is approx.. 10” x 5 ½” x 3 ¾” Comes with original booklet and plug in speaker/microphone Testing it - I couldn’t get a response from the built in speaker so plugged the external one and heard a period pop band, possibly Freddie and the Dreamers. But when I came to unplug the external speaker (I didn’t check the record feature) the pin of the connector stayed in the socket and the rest of the plug came out, see photo 14 NB It looks like part of the booklet has been nibbled by mice at some time, see photo 12.
