Chartwell LS3/5A Project Symphony BBC speakers- Original & Owned Since New, fully working and lovingly looked after as you can see in the photos. These top quality speakers were not available to buy but were offered to BBC employees only and these have been owned since new in the 1980s by my friends late father who was a sound engineer with the BBC. His love of classical music saw him match these speakers with a Quad 306 Power Amp & Quad 34 Control Unit and Garrard 301 Turntable & SME Model 3009 Series 2 Improved Arm to ensure the top quality sound he wanted for his music. The turntable & amp/control unit were on sale on Ebay and quickly found new owners. For peace of mind my friend has double checked with the Unofficial LS3/5A website the authenticity of these speakers and Paul Whatton the sites owner has confirmed as expected that they are Original BBC Project Symphony speakers and are fantastic quality, extremely rare and sought after all over the world. The speakers are fully assembled as new and working and come with the original paperwork for assembly etc. Ideally these speakers can be collected but if not then postage is to be paid by the buyer.I have costed it as Royal Mail Special Delivery, signed for, tracked & with insurance cover of £2,500 in the UK as a guide.
