These are my Celestion Ditton 442 stereo floorstanders. I have owned them now for 10 years. They look great and have few flaws on the cabinets. I was never given the front grilles although you can make copies easily and buy authentic looking grille material online. The speakers sound lovely. These are the evolution model and use different units to the previous Ditton 44. Alike the Ditton 44 the Ditton 442 share units from its bigger sister the 662. It is nearly identical apart from the passive radiator and the bigger cabinet that the 662 has. That said they feature the same FC121 330mm bass woofer with 46mm voice coil. A (442 only) FC61 130mm coated cone midrange with 25mm voice coil and a HF2001 25mm plastic dome tweeter with a 19mm voice coil (same as the Ditton 662. Also the HF2001 is the evolution to the famous HF2000 BBC acredited tweeter used in the Ditton 66). The cabinets are 762 x 390 x 290 all mm. They weigh 25 KGs each. The stands weigh about 2 KG each, The speakers are original and have not been modified but unfortunately the little black metal tweeter grilles are missing but you can get those readily available online however the speakers come complete with the stands shown in the pictures.
