For sale are 4 Celestion AVS 301 surround speakers and 1 AVC 301 center speaker. All speakers are in working condition. There are some scratches on the speaker cabinets and a little on the woofer. This does not affect the sound of the speakers only the appearance. All 5 speakers come with their adjustable foot/stands. I am the second owner of these speakers and it looks like some of the cabinets may have been painted.

They are 2-way speakers, having 4-inch woofers and .8 horn tweeters. The enclosure type is sealed. They are footed, and they pivot left and right. They accept amplifier power between 10 and 100 watts into 8 ohm impedance, and they accept bare wires or possibly banana plugs. The speakers could function in a surround sound setup, but they could also function as front, main speakers, left and right. They can also be wall- or ceiling mounted, having connections on the foot of the speakers. In a large room, their performance would be complemented and enhanced with a subwoofer, though they sound great in their own right. Condition is excellent. Dimensions: 8.5 high x 4.625 wide x 6 deep. The bundle is in full working order as seen on the photographs. There are a few minor marks to some of the cabinets that is cosmetic and does not affect function. There are a few indentations on two tweeters and the subwoofer cone however they still work and I can hear no distortion of sound. The surround speakers can sit table-top or be wall mounted. The centre speaker sits table top only. Whilst built in China these are British designed speakers from the well respected Celestion company. These are an excellent set of surround speakers that look “space age” and sound great. I am selling as I have “upgraded” to a different speaker package - if I needed two surround systems I would keep these and continue to enjoy them. We are a smoke-free and pet-free household too - no tar stains, pet hairs, other smells to contend with too.
