Since I couldn’t find a replacement tweeter for my (fantastic) Celestion A3 speaker(s), I ended up having to settle for some different replacements. They were replaced at a professional speaker repair shop and the ones they pulled out were returned to me. These are those. The adhesive on the edges/outside of the top/front may have been from the shop trying to secure the mount, but it shouldn’t interfere with functionality. When I took them in, one (the one without a stamped top in the pictures) was working perfectly. The one with the stamped pattern metal top had an attempt to replace/fix that metal to get it to work well, but apparently that didn’t work. I’ll send you both since I have them, but this auction is for one well functioning tweeter. The other one just has an odd frequency response. If you know what you’re doing, you may be able to fix the second one, too. These are clearly from old speakers (you know that), so even the one that works well isn’t totally smooth, aesthetically (visually). Message with any questions.

Whilst very well looked after, there are one or two scuffs and one small dent on the far side of one speaker, but you don’t even notice it. I actually own two pairs of these and consider them to be one of the very best speakers in my collection over the years (my most expensive speakers cost 25Knew). With a 1inch titanium tweeter, a 7 inch mid-range driver and three 8 inch bass drivers, these rear-firing beauties knock out 200 Watts at 4 ohms. The bass is incredible and attention to detail on the high’s and mid-range will definitely not disappoint the discerning audiophile’s ears! As they weigh 46 kg each, collection only!
