Top to bottom touch of class and quality. The grilles are metal. Even the pegs are made of aluminum and brass. -Virtually MINT but just to be at the safe side we described them as Near MINT. You may find a light line like press mark as pictured but nothing major. Thats actually on the bottom when placed as montior style. The tops are absolutely free from any typical round marks left by coffee mugs or flower vases. -Very close serial numbers. Only 6 pairs apart but both speakers were out of the production line on the same day and therefore, we believe that they are from the same batch of production. -Outstanding sound quality be them played either with sold state or tube. CELESTION A3 SPEAKERS (these were the company’s flagship speaker!) MORE PHOTOS TO FOLLOW SHORTLY!!CelestionA3 floor standing speakers in Santos Rosewood hardwood; in overall very good condition, with excellent speaker covers (although I think they look best without!) Whilst very well looked after, there are one or two scuffs and one small dent on the far side of one speaker, but you don’t even notice it. I actually own two pairs of these and consider them to be one of the very best speakers in my collection over the years (my most expensive speakers cost 25Knew). With a 1inch titanium tweeter, a 7 inch mid-range driver and three 8 inch bass drivers, these rear-firing beauties knock out 200 Watts at 4 ohms. The bass is incredible and attention to detail on the high’s and mid-range will definitely not disappoint the discerning audiophile’s ears! As they weigh 46 kg each, collection only!
