3 X SONY CD PLAYERS CDP-D11 Working & CDP-D12 / D11 parts only. These are ex playout items, all which power up ok. The top CDP-D11 reads the CD and plays ok. (The top one in the pics). The lower CDP-D11 and CDP-D12 power up but report disk error when played.Consulting with youtube reveals that sometimes it is dust on the Laser LED.Other times it can be led desensitivity (over time), and an onboard potentiometer (presumably LED brightness control) allows a restoration of function.
