This mid-1980s vintage CD player is one of the models produced by Sony. It has been tested and confirmed that all functions work as designed. The drawer mechanism gears have been cleaned and lubricated. The finish on the top has blemishes as shown in the photo. This model does not offer remote control functionality. Serial No 825951

I dont have the instructions but you can find directions on YouTub. The potentiometer for volume has been replaced with a philips part, works just fine, however the volume doesnt go as low as it would have originally. The knob has also been glued (see picture). Sounds great. The mechanism has been cleaned and is now very quick. Very nice and heavy cd player. Used to be part of my own set up but I have recently bought a different sony cd player which has replaced it.
