Tested, working but drive came loose and now doesnt load.It seemed to be working fine but wouldnt eject the disc.Inspection discovered that the drive had come loose, its just glued in with goo.After trying to reseat the drive it no longer loads a disc.SO, parts or repair. Needs a drive. Nice condition. Includes power cord.

A really nice Sony ES CD player. These CD Players were very built as belonging to the Sony ES line of components. This player’s weight is deceptive as to its beautiful low profile! The drive unit has been completely gone through and of course new belts were put in. Also replaced the muting relay with a new one vs cleaning the old one. Strong player, can access tracks in less than a second! These were the best transports that Sony made but later on cost cutting this type of quality has disappeared for slower gear driven laser sleds. The laser assembly moves on magnetic rails so no moving parts to wear out. Check out my feedback on other equipment I have sold. I reserve the right to deny sale to Zero or low feedback numbers.
