Heavily modified Marantz CD40 CD Player TDA1541A CDM4/19 This item came to me from a house clearance so its history is unknown. In full working order it has been heavily modified with an additional built in power supply and modifications to the TDA1541A DAC circuitry. Needless to say it sounds great !!! This CD Player is in full working order and as you would expect from Marantz the build quality and choice of components is excellent. Fitted with a Philips TDA1541A processing chip and swing arm laser this machine produces a superb sound. Comes with its original remote control that is in excellent condition. Condition wise the front of the machine is in great condition with a few light marks. All decals are intact. The top casing has few light marks and scratches. Please see photos. The CD player has been checked over, lightly serviced and given a clean bill of health by an audio service engineer who has been repairing / servicing audio equipment full time for the past 40 years. I will only accept cash on collection for this item. Any other form of payment would be refunded. Item is located in Hither Green South east London SE13. Five minutes’ walk from Hither Green over ground railway station which is easily reached from Charing Cross and London Bridge railway stations. If collecting by train/bus once demonstrated the items would be bubble wrapped and pallet wrapped for safe transportation. The CD player would be demonstrated and seen/heard workingwhen collected and any technical assistance given if required re setting up at home etc. I am confident that this item is in full working order. However I am happy to accept a return on this item within 1 week of collection if any buyer finds the condition unacceptable or has any issues.
