Non CD-4 records may also be played through the CD-400B without affecting their performance. The controls do not have to be adjusted to play non CD-4 records; when they are played and the mode switch is in the 4 CH Auto position, the Radar indicator will illuminate and the record will automatically be demodulated into four discrete channels.
