Hi there and thank you for viewing my auction! Up for sale is a beautiful Primaluna Prologue Eight Vacuum Tube CD player. (Also known as the Prologue Classic CD Player.) This is the USA, 110-120v version of the player. It is in perfect working condition and sounds fantastic. Included is the original box (triple boxed), a copy of the manual printed on copier paper, a heavy-duty power cord, and the original anodized aluminum remote. It comes with the original Primaluna branded tubes, which should have plenty of life left in them. I rarely used this unit as I typically stream my music to my USB DAC. Now for the flaws as I prefer full disclosure rather than an upset buyer! I want you to be happy with your purchase! The remote is held together with 4 screws and two rubber rings that also serve to protect your furniture from the metal causing scratches. One of the screws from the bottom of the remote is missing. It in no way affects the functionality of the remote, but I want you to be aware. I didnt even notice it until I was preparing the unit for eBay. The only other flaw of note is a slight dent on top of the unit near the back, near one of the vent holes. I think it came that way from the factory, and could just be the way they all are - Im not sure. See photos. I tried to catch it with the camera, but its very hard to see. Theres no nick in the paint or anything, its just slightly pressed in. Again, minor, but I want you to be aware of any and all flaws I was able to find. There is a lot of sunlight reflection in some of the photos - this unit appears essentially blemish free. You will not believe your CDs could sound this good until you hear them on this player. I used it to record my CDs onto my music server because of the sound quality difference. This player has not been used since we downsized in late 2019 until I tested it before listing. It sounds wonderful. I have only ever heard one player I believe sounded clearly better and that was nearly $8,000. Remote control is included. Will be packed in its original box and shipped insured to the 48 contiguous states.
