Series 2 of these cracking Castle of Skipton floorstanders. The ones with the carbon fibre drivers, last a bit better than the series 1 versions. Please see pics for condition, beautiful real wood veneer. Fully working drivers, including the super cool third upward firing units. When I got them the bi wire jumpers were missing, I have rigged up some QED silver speaker wire as jumpers. The previous owner obviously did not like bass as the port at the bottom was done up tight, I have opened it up with some washers so there is more bass. Obviously this can be tuned to your liking with more or less washers, I’ll show you how it works-took me a couple of minutes! Includes all driver covers, these are not in good condition, the previous owner looks to have had a cat! I think they look better without the covers anyway. The grilles attach and detach properly, all plastic lugs are present. Just beautifully made, excellent sounding speakers. I think to match them now you would be talking well over a grand and even then I don’t the cabinetry would be as good quality. Includes spikes for bases. Please check my feedback and other items for sale. A kind fellow Harlech owner has measured the gap at the plinth on his as 3.5mm with the original spacers. I measure a smidge over 3mm on mine with two metal washers. These are relisted after an ebayer begged me to post them, I priced up buying all the packaging I would need from links he had provided, and estimated the courier costs. After winning the speakers, of course radio silence. So…. please don’t ask me to post these, I don’t have the boxes and when you win I will have days of faff buying packaging and sorting out collection.
