This CD player features Carver’s Digital Time Lens technology, which was designed to correct problems with the early releases of CDs. Carver’s description: The Digital Time Lens circuit adjusts the frequency response to reduce the excess high frequencies. Then it adds just a touch more of the difference between the left and right channels, subtly increasing the stereo effect. Sometimes this enhances the depth of the stereo image. This meddling results in a more analog sound. Up for sale is a Carver model Tl-3100 CD player parts. Includes top tray, complete laser assembly, new drive motor belt. Entire platform was cleaned of all old silicone grease and all plastic drive gears cleaned and replaced with new silicons grease. Also, replaced laser metal slide rods with new silicone grease. Laser output is strong and CD tray is super smooth. All leaf bi-metal contacts were cleaned and burnished lightly with 600 grit then 1000 grit sandpaaper for metals. Unit came from a working Carver TL-3100 player. TESTED.

Laser was cleaned with photographic lens paper.

Carver TL-3100 Compact Disc Player, I got this years ago with a receiver I bought and I never used this, been sitting in my closet all these years. The receiver and other pieces are long gone. Comes with the original Owner Manual and Remote. I do not have a way to test if it actually will play a CD, but I turned it on and it powers on as it should, CD door opens as it should, smooth and quiet.
