Vintage Bob Carver TFM-55x Power Amplifier Mono/Stereo 1000w Lucas Film THX Certified acquired from the original owner. Thoroughly tested this amplifier works 100% as it should. Both left and right channels have strong output, stereo / mono switch on the back works, both lighted meters are accurate, range and light switches perform their intended functions. Conservatively rated at 380 watts per channel at 8 ohms, 500 watts per channel at 4 ohms and 1000 watts in bridged mono mode at 8 ohms. Sound quality is probably the best I have ever heard. Cosmetically there are some nicks on the sharp top edge of the face plate bezel(touched up with black marker) and some light marks on the top of the case. Please view the auction photos.
