I am selling my Sunfire/Carver 9 channel surround sound system. Total of (1) Receiver and (4) Carver Power Amps. I love this system but my wife does not so it must go,thus I am downsizing to a single multi-channel amp. She cannot get all the buttons and switches. I wish to sell the entire system together and if there is no interest I will list the components separately. This listing is for (1) Sunfire TGR-3 Theater Grand Receiver, which has 7 Channels at 200 W each. I use this as a surround processor. (1) Carver A-753x Amp. It is 250W X 3 channels which I use for my Center, Right, and Left Mains. (3) Carver A-500x Amps, 250W X 2 each, which are my L/R wide channels, L/R SIde Surround Channels, and L/R Back Surround Channels respectively. One photo shows the system minus 2 amps for sale. There are two subwoofer amps displayed which are not for sale.All of these pieces were overhauled or refurbished 3 to 4 years ago and work great. This item is technically working; though I’m listing it as “ for parts or repair” because it should be repaired to be back to its former glory. The rosewood cabinet is in beautiful condition. There are fine scratches that could buff out. There are no major blemishes on the cabinet. It is missing both the front and rear grills. The unit works, but there has always been a slight hum at low volumes ever since I’ve owned it. It has sat for a long time not used in my sun/theater room. Unfortunately in direct sunlight. Just recently I noticed the surround on the active woofer has split ( likely from the direct sunlight). The caps to me look like they have never been serviced but I’m not 100% sure.
