Carver M500t Power Amplifier Upgraded. Fully functioning. This is a very powerful and dynamic amplifier. It is rated at 251 watts per channel continuous at 8 ohms . See photo with full specs. This unit is in great shape. It has been in a nonsmoking home for 4 years. I am downsizing to an all in one AVR. Upgraded with black face, LED lights, switch cover, handles, Gold plated 8 way binding posts, gold plated RCA inputs, Power supply completely recapped. I am including a copy of both the owners and service manual. This is a vintage upgraded unit it is guaranteed not to be dead on arrival, beyond that there is no warranty.

Excellent Sounding with plenty of power rated @ 250 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Unit has been cleaned and fully tested. All functions work as they should. Carver M-500 Magnetic Field Power Amplifier. (this amp does NOT have the T designation after the model number) This amp has been my backup amp since 2016, when purchased it refurbished from Rolland from Hi-Tech Audio LTD. It works perfectly and sounds great! It has been used very little since then, and so I am selling it so someone else can enjoy it. Video was made with an Android phone, so audio is not quite Audiophile quality idue to the built-in microphone and my amateur recording technique, but if you listen to it on bookshelf or larger speakers, you can get a sense of the power and frequency range this amp can generate... Ive never had it register more than 60% of the sweep range on the VU meters (too loud for my ears). The top portion of the case was painted with a textured gray paint which I dont believe is original and not applied with great expertise (texture is uneven). At one point I had another piece of equipment sitting on top, and there are slight wear marks from the feet of that item on the top of the amplifier case.
