Carver M-4.0t Magnetic Field Power Amplifier I am selling my gently used Carver audio equipment in an effort to declutter, simplify life and maybe make my wife happy (or happier, it’s hard to tell sometimes). If you’re reading this you are likely familiar with the legend of Bob Carver and the quality of Carver audio products so I won’t go into all of that here. When my hearing was good this equipment gave me hours and hours of sonic enjoyment. I hope they bring you the same pleasure. It has suffered no damage or accidents. Normal wear and tear as expected (but not really much). No cables included. Powers up but otherwise untested (because it’s been in storage a few years and I no longer have any loudspeakers) but it worked fine the last time it was used. As a piece of audio gear that is over 30 years old it comes with no warranty and no returns and is priced accordingly. Sold for $1000 back in 1998. Note: This item is HEAVY. final listing this is a TFM4.0 . These were made only 1 yr during the color shift in the amps from the original m1.0t to the TFM series . its color is different than the m1.0t.  The TFM amps are a black face in color. This is like a cross between the m1.0t and the later black amps. the face is original . only made these for 1 yr. this one was recapped but the main large gray caps were left in place because they were still within spec. ive run it and its very strong and clean. I’m going to take some gut shots and video of it . Final reduction.
