You can see in one of the pictures one big blue capacitor split in the power amplifier. Also, I couldnt get any sound from the TX-2 tuner. Both the amp and the tuner have original boxes and packing. The amp has rack handles. Both have excellent cosmetics and neither of them work. I think maybe that burst capacitor also burnt the board it was next to - again, see pics. Im not a techie so sold as-is for parts or repair. Really didnt expect this when I bought them with the original boxes and packing. Counted no less than 20 power transistors. Ill wrap both boxes in another box to ship.

Had briefly for second system, more power than I needed. 350 into 8ohm, most my BPs are 6 ohm so this was bit high total distortion at high levels esp. on 4 to 6 ohm speakers. The 0.1 thd doesnt go up with watts as other amp but does get hotter and high with more ohm loads. Has a replace fan and some abrasion and wear marks from years of use. Works as should and the soft power on needs some kind of amp relay or preamp to power on or off. May need capacitor replacement in future as old amps tend to need this eventually. Parts available several vendors on Ebay when or if needed.
