CARVER C-9 Sonic Hologram Generator ! Tested & Working. VERY COOL !! I have not heard this unit before; ..it had my interest piqued.I kinda expected a dramatic change to the music I was listening to; ...but its more of subtle defined change. The sound stage was altered, seemed to have more depth as well. could not determine is there was a left and right channel alteration or it was just me. I listened to this piece with a cheap amp, cheap CD player, and low grade bookshelf speakers. I would suspect on a quality system the sound effects would be more noticeable and enjoyable. The condition is very nice. Does have some nicks and small scratches here and there. There is a larger scratch on the bottom. And there were feet attached to the bottom (now just residue left).

Own a piece of Carver history. It is in nearly mint condition and hardly used. It powers up and works. One would have to look long and hard to find one this clean in this condition! (I had kids and audio became secondary to EVERYTHING - which is fine) but never used my system much. This has been in its original box for over 25 years. It powers up and Im certain it still works. Carver Sonic Hologram Generator Model C-9. 2X SOLD AS PAIR Was enjoying what these can do to music played through speakers. Unfortunately I tried running them both in serial and now something is wrong and the sonic holography is not hitting the same. Although they still function, I know there is something up so I cannot sell them as working units. Hopefully someone with some knowledge of electronics can get these to sing again.
