Die Beovox S45-2 Lautsprecherboxen von Bang & Olufsen sind ein High-End-Produkt mit einer RMS-Leistung von 45/75 W und einer Impedanz von 4-8 Ohm. Die rechteckigen Boxen sind aus Holz gefertigt und haben eine Größe von 48 x 26 x 20,5 cm (HxBxT) sowie ein Gewicht von 7 kg. Die Boxen sind mit einem 200 mm Tieftöner, einem 90 mm Tief-Mitteltöner und einem 25 mm Mittel-Hochtöner und einem DIN-Audioeingang ausgestattet und werden inklusive Ständer geliefert. Nach Angaben von HIFI-WIKI wurden solche Boxen zwischen 1977 und 1980 hergestellt, der Neupreis (für eine Box?) betrug damals etwa 498 DM!. Mein Schwiegervater hat sie zusammen mit einem Beocenter 9300 vermutlich Mitte der 1990er Jahre gekauft.
