RARE 25’ pair of Audio Truth XLR cables in great shape. They retailed for $2200. These, along with Cardas Golden Cross are my favorite cables. They are detailed without being harsh and bring great top to bottom dynamics. They came from the estate of a very well known audio engineer responsible for many audiophile recordings. Heute läuft dessen neue Technologie unter dem US-Patent Nummer 7.674.973. Die technische Idee dahinter? Die Geschwindigkeit der Ladungsausbreitung innerhalb des Kabels mit derjenigen der Signalübertragung zu synchronisieren. Das Kabel bleibt hierbei sehr musikalisch, es erkauft sich die hervorragende Räumlichkeit nicht mit einer auf Dauer unangenehmen Detailfülle des Superhochtonbereichs. Wer bei älteren Cardas-Kabeln den Wunsch nach mehr Raumtiefe und Präzision verspürte, der ist hier richtig.George Cardas setzt auf drei Stränge feiner Einzellitzen mit ebenmäßiger und lackierter Oberfläche, die in gegenläufigen Spiralen um einen nicht-leitenden Kevlar-Kern gewickelt werden. Durch aufwändige und doppellagige Stabilisierung bleiben sie in perfekter Position zu einander. Cardas XLR Male Caps (Pair) Cardas XLR MALE Caps are used to fit over unused FEMALE XLR sockets to eliminate EMI and RF noise absorption. They are non-shorting and completely cover the XLRs opening with a solid shield of nickel and brass to prevent EMI and RFI from entering the chassis through the dielectric. This noise can create havoc with digital processing and software. Cardas caps also protect XLRs from dust and corrosion. They feature the Signature Series Nautilus logo engraved onto the top surface of the cover. Important: Just to be clear - these caps are designed to fit over XLR input sockets.
