Das Kabel entstammt der Cross-Kabelserie und verwendet vier Innenleiterbündel aus einzeln lackierten und im Goldenen Schnitt angeordneten Litzen, die gegenläufig verseilt sind. Zur Positionierung wird PFA-Band mit Kohlenstoffimprägnierung verwendet, ein Spiralkabel dient als zusätzliche Schirmung. Cardas Iridium : conducteurs Comme toujours chez Cardas, les conducteurs sont en fil de litz, ici en cuivre pur au nombre de 4 conducteurs de 0.5 mm de diamètre chacun. Cardas Iridium : blindage et connecteurs Les isolants de ce Cardas Iridium sont en PPFE. Le blindage est obtenu par une couche de PFA et de carbone. Les connecteurs RCA sont de type GRCM et les XLR d’origine Neutrik. Cardas Iridium : test et écoute L’écoute de ce câble de modulation favorise nettement l’équilibre général. Le constructeur a subtilement dosé suffisamment de matière tout en conservant la transparence et un niveau de précision élevé. On retrouve la qualité de timbre des câbles Cardas associée à une superbe présence et une belle ampleur. Le médium est superbe par sa présence et son articulation. L’aigu fait preuve d’une belle douceur, sans jamais tomber dans une restitution sombre. Ce parti-pris favorise l’émotion et le réalisme sur les voix. A cela s’ajoutent une superbe scène sonore et un bas de spectre charpenté. A recommander +++
